THE WORK
Some boats need a full teak deck replacement. Others need careful sanding, reseaming, plank repair, or new varnish that brings the wood back.
We take the time to assess the boat’s needs before work begins, so the repair or installation fits the vessel rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach.
We specialize in clean lines, fair surfaces, tight fitment, and finishes that make the woodwork feel like it belonged there from the start.
SERVICES
From deck replacements to small detail work, each service is handled with the same concern for fit, finish, and the owner’s expectations.

When a deck has reached the end of its service life, we remove the old teak, prepare and fair the subdeck, and install new teak using the right method for the boat.
For smaller projects, the deck may be hand-laid to create a tight bond and a balanced pattern. Larger yachts may be better suited to off-site panel fabrication using plywood templates for clean on-board fitment.

We sand teak decks to an 80-grit finish and work carefully to keep the deck flat. Reseaming, plank replacement, steaming, and caulk repairs can often extend the life of the deck.
When the planks still have enough thickness, reseaming may be a smart option for replacing deteriorated caulk without removing the full deck. Small caulk repairs can also address isolated problem areas when a full reseam is not needed.

Covering boards, coaming boards, helm pods, custom tables, step boxes, cabinetry, rod storage, fillet tables, and drink box dividers.
Custom carpentry gives the boat a cleaner, more finished appearance. Covering and coaming boards are installed with clamps for a premium bond, avoiding unnecessary screws and plugs when the design allows.

We restore faded varnish and tired wood on tables, helm chairs, fighting chairs, rocket launchers, cap rails, toe rails, and more.
The right finish can bring older wood back to life. Several coats of polyurethane over varnish may be recommended for added protection and longer-lasting beauty.
